You talk about an unexpected twist and a last minute trip. That’s exactly what took place this past weekend as great friend, Danny Clipp from BBT Outfitters in Indiana sent me a picture message of a great buck and asked if I wanted to take a stab at him. After scrounging up enough camera equipment and convincing Chris Ward with Legends Of The Fall TV to come a long for the journey, we hit the road.
Danny arranged for each of us to have our own cameraman; therefore, a special thanks goes out to Doug Partenheimer for a job well done. The first afternoon didn’t pan out to be what we expected. However, the second afternoon was much more than we ever expected. We had two shooters walk directly under our tree stand and this big boy was the first one to present a shot.
